As a key member of a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team you will use your expertise in digital signal processing, VHDL and FPGAs in the development of mission critical military electronic systems.

You will develop FPGA designs for Xilinx, Altera, Lattice, and Microsemi. Designs will be implemented using VHDL for gigabit serial interfaces, Radio Frequency (RF) and Electro-Optical (EO) DSP, controls, data links, embedded processing and processor interfaces. Designs are verified against requirements using both directed test and constrained random methodologies. Design support is expected from requirements definition through integration and test.  Design documentation and configuration management are required. 

* The ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD clearance a must *

Locations: Phoenix (similar positions in Alabama, Texas, California and Massachusetts)

Required: BSEE-CE-PHY with 2+ years current post academic digital design and VHDL coding. Embedded processor and System on a Chip development for FPGA devices. Knowledge of Altera and Xilinx devices and flow tools. Digital Signal Design processing for FPGA devices, both programming and testing. Timing constraint application and closure. Hands-on integration and debug. Applying fixed-point analysis and conversion of floating point algorithms. MATLAB scripting and simulation.


Pluses: PhD/MSEE-CE-PHY. 5+ years FPGA digital design.
